Learning the Ropes & Family Visits (Sailing Day Dream Ep. 2)
Sailing Day Dream Episode 2 is here! It’s been a big month for us, as we settle into our new life and have had a few unforeseen upheavals.
Come along for the adventure as we practice our sailing skills, overcome a few nerves, harvest water from our dingy and take Andrew’s dad for a sail. We’re cruising around Pittwater, New South Wales, Australia and getting accustomed to this awesome new sailing life. As a little side note, I don’t foresee it usually being so long in between videos into the future.
This past six weeks have been very difficult as we had not one, but two unexpected and tragic deaths in our family. The sadness we felt really highlighted how lucky we are to be on the boat now, doing what we enjoy, and spending time with people we love. None of us really can ever know what is around the corner, so being brave (even when it feels scary) to try something new, and making time to do what you love, while you can, is worth it.
